OINP Invites Candidates under EJO: Foreign Worker Stream for Economic Mobility Pathways Pilot

The Ontario Immigrant Nominee Program (OINP) on January 15, 2025 issued invitations to apply (ITAs) to a select group of candidates eligible for the Economic Mobility Pathways Pilot (EMPP) under the Employer Job Offer: Foreign Worker stream. The OINP issued 4 targeted invitations to apply to candidates who may qualify for the federal EMPP Project under the EJO: Foreign Worker stream.

This stream provides a pathway to permanent residency for skilled foreign workers who have a valid job offer from an Ontario employer in a skilled occupation. To be eligible, the offered position must fall under Training, Education, Experience, and Responsibilities (TEER) categories 0, 1, 2, or 3 of the National Occupational Classification (NOC).

Economic Mobility Pathways Pilot (EMPP)

The EMPP is a federal Canadian program specifically designed to assist skilled refugees and other displaced individuals in their immigration journey. By inviting these individuals to apply for permanent residency through the OINP, Ontario is actively contributing to Canada's commitment to welcoming and supporting refugees and displaced persons.
