  • Once your EOI is ranked and accepted well, you will be sponsored by the Australian Employers or nominated by the State Governments or invited directly by the Government of Australia to lodge a visa application
  • Fulfill the basic visa process requirements.

General Skilled Migration Program Categories

There are various Visa Categories available under this Program:

Skill Independent Visa (subclass 189)

This is one of the most popular visa categories in Australia. The Skill Independent Visa is for the skilled workers who have been point tested, however, not sponsored, or nominated by any employer, family member or province or territory. Through Skill Independent Visa you can get permanent residency status to stay and work in Australia.
Skilled Nominated Visa (Subclass 190)

The skilled Nominated visa –subclass 190 is for the candidates, who are sponsored by the Australian Province or territory. The applicants however, will be selected based on their skill, experience, and profile details as mentioned in Skill select.

Skilled Nominated (Provisional Visa)

Skill Sponsored (Provisional Visa)

The Skilled Sponsored (Provisional) Visa is a temporary visa issued to skill migrants to stay and work in Australia, after they are sponsored by their family members in Australia.

Skilled Regional Visa

This Visa Category is for the highly skilled applicants willing to get settled in a particular state or territory in Australia with the essential education, qualification, and capability of getting the Skilled Regional Visa.

Employer Nomination Scheme (ENS)

The applicants coming to Australia under Employer Nomination scheme are the Permanent Residents. Also, if you already got the temporary working visa, i.e. Working Holiday Visa or student visa, you can apply for this visa.

Regional Skilled Migration Scheme (RSMS)
