IRCC Invites candidates with Trade Occupations in latest Category-based Express Entry draw

Canada continues to make a promising end to the year 2023. In the latest chain of events on December 19, 2023 the IRCC (Immigration Refugees, and Citizenship Canada) marked the opening of the fifth Express Entry draw of December month issuing invitations to apply for Canadian Permanent Residency (PR) Visa extended to 1,000 candidates.

Notably, this EE draw was category-based, solely for candidates in the Trade occupations (2023-1). The move underscores Canada's premeditated approach to addressing specific labour market needs while offering a promising outlook for potential Permanent Residency (PR) applicants in the coming year.

In this latest category-based draw for Trade Occupations, the IRCC has issued 1,000 ITAs (Invitations to Apply) to express entry candidates with CRS (Comprehensive Ranking System) score 425 points or higher.

After this new EE draw of EE System, Canada has now issued a total of 1,09,196 Invitations this year in overall 40 Express Entry draws.
