Western Australia has officially released the results of the January 2026 invitation round under the State Nominated Migration Program (SNMP). Invitations were issued on 12 January 2026 across the General Stream and Graduate Stream, supporting nominations for the Skilled Nominated (Subclass 190) and Skilled Work Regional (Subclass 491)visas.
The round primarily focused on skilled trade occupations listed under WASMOL Schedule 2, as well as eligible graduates under the Vocational Education and Training (VET) Graduate Stream. Invitations are issued based on ranking factors including location of residence, priority industry sectors, EOI points score, and date of EOI submission.
A total of 1,135 invitations were issued under the WA State Nominated Migration Program in this invitation round.
