Manitoba Invites 197 Candidates in First MPNP Draw of the year

The Manitoba Provincial Nominee Program (MPNP) has issued 197 Letters of Advice to Apply (LAAs) in its first immigration draw of 2025 took place on January 9, 2025. This round of invitations targeted candidates applying under the Skilled Worker in Manitoba and Skilled Worker Overseas streams.

Those who received LAAs are now invited to submit a full application to the MPNP. Successful applicants may subsequently be eligible for permanent residency in Canada.

Key Highlights from the 9 Jan MPNP Draw:

• Skilled Worker in Manitoba Stream: 145 LAAs issued with minimum score requirement of 838. These were the candidates who Completed post-secondary study in Manitoba

• Skilled Worker Overseas Stream: 52 LAAs issued to candidates with a minimum score of 615 or higher. Under this stream, the Profiles declaring their Manitoba destination to be Winkler were considered.

Among the 197 candidates invited, 52 were selected from the Express Entry pool, specifically those holding valid job seeker validation codes.
