Canada Invites 4,000 Healthcare Professionals in Latest Express Entry Draw

Immigration, Refugees and Citizenship Canada (IRCC) has conducted another major Express Entry draw, this time targeting healthcare and social services professionals. A total of 4,000 Invitations to Apply (ITAs) were issued under the category-based selection system.

This draw reflects Canada’s continued focus on addressing labour shortages in the healthcare sector.

Key Details of the February 20 Draw

To qualify for this round of invitations, candidates needed:

  • A minimum Comprehensive Ranking System (CRS) score of 467; and
  • An Express Entry profile created before 6:22 p.m. (UTC) on December 9, 2025.

This is the third category-based selection draw of 2026 and the tenth Express Entry draw overall this year. It also marks the first healthcare-focused draw of 2026.
