Invitations under the 2025–2026 General Skilled Migration (GSM) program for January 2026 are still being sent out by South Australia's Skilled & Business Migration unit. Both Subclass 190 (state- nominated skilled visa) and Subclass 491 (regional skilled visa) invitations are still being sent out by Skilled and Business Migration to qualified candidates in a variety of professions and visa streams.

A total of 344 invitations were sent out in January, with 235 going to Subclass 190 and 109 to Subclass 491.
Numerous ANZSCO industry groups, including those in building, ICT, health, engineering, and education, are invited.
The total number of invitations sent out in both streams for the 2025–2026 program year is now 931.
Monthly invitation rounds will continue, according to Skilled & Business Migration. Early February 2026 is when the following round is set to take place.
