Second Express Entry draw of the week opens for French- speaking Candidates

In this category-based draw, IRCC has invited 1,500 Francophone candidates to apply for Canadian PR Visa, who had the CRS score of 388 points or above.

Now, after this new EE Draw,  this year, Canada has invited total 26,695 candidates to apply for Canadian PR visa in overall 13 EE draws held until date.

 

 

The CRS (Comprehensive Ranking System) score requirement has as usual dropped for this category-based express entry draw for French-speaking candidates. Hence, the Canada PR aspirants with proficiency in French or work experience in high demand occupations have greater chance of getting ITA (Invitation to Apply) for Canadian Permanent Residency (PR) Visa this year.

 

Categories for category-based selections in 2024

 

The IRCC has kept same categories for Category-based Express Entry draws this year, which were used in 2023. The categories retained for 2024 are:

• A strong French language proficiency or
• Work experience in one of the below fields:
  • healthcare
  • science, technology, engineering, and mathematics (STEM) professions
  • trades, such as carpenters, plumbers and contractors
  • transport
  • agriculture and Agri-food
