New MPNP Draw- Manitoba invites Skilled Migration Applicants in Manitoba & Overseas

Manitoba conducted special draws for Skilled Worker applicants registered in the Manitoba Provincial Nominee Program (MPNP) on April 9, 2024. The first one was the occupation-specific draw inviting the candidates registered under Skilled Workers in Manitoba stream, while the second draw province opened for the Skilled worker Overseas Stream of Manitoba PNP. Skilled workers in Manitoba Stream

Occupation-specific Draw – 9 April

The Manitoba held an Occupation-Specific draw for Skilled Worker in Manitoba stream, to invite 276 Letters of Advice (LAAs) to apply for provincial nomination:

• Number of Letters of Advice to Apply issued: 276                                                                                                  

The occupations under the below NOC 2021 were considered in this draw:

• 33102 - Nurse aides, orderlies and patient service associates
• 60020 - Retail and wholesale trade managers
• NOCs belonging to sub-major groups 731 - General construction trades

Skilled Worker Overseas Draw

The MPNP profiles which confirmed being directly invited by the MPNP under a Strategic Recruitment Initiative received Letters of Advice (LAAs) to apply for provincial nomination in this draw:

• Number of Letters of Advice to Apply issued: 87 

• Ranking score of lowest-ranked candidate invited: 691

Out of the 363 Letters of Advice to Apply distributed in this draw, 81 were allocated to applicants who confirmed a valid Express Entry profile number and job seeker validation code.
