The province of Alberta has concluded a series of new Provincial Nominee Program (PNP) draws, extending invitations to approximately 120 immigration candidates between June 5 and June 19, 2025. These targeted draws, conducted under the Alberta Advantage Immigration Program (AAIP), aim to address specific labour market needs across various key sectors.
The AAIP held a total of five draws over the two-week period, focusing on a diverse range of streams, including both Express Entry-aligned and non-Express Entry pathways. The streams targeted in these recent invitations are:
AAIP Draws: June 5 - 19, 2025
Recognizing the vital role specific industries play in its economy, the Alberta Advantage Immigration Program (AAIP) held several nomination draws on June 5, 10, 17, 18, and 19, 2025. These strategic draws resulted in nearly 120 Invitations to Apply being issued to candidates with valuable experience in key sectors. The targeted streams are detailed in the table below.

These draws underscore Alberta's strategic approach to immigration, aligning its nominee program with the province's economic and workforce development objectives. By focusing on high-demand industries such as healthcare, technology, tourism, and law enforcement, Alberta seeks to fill critical labour gaps and contribute to its sustained economic growth.
As of June 19, 2025, Alberta has issued 2,535 nominations out of its total allocation of 4,875 for the year, meaning over 2,300 provincial nomination opportunities are still available for eligible candidates under the AAIP. Prospective immigrants with experience in these priority sectors are encouraged to assess their eligibility and consider applying to the Alberta Advantage Immigration Program.
