Manitoba, British Columbia, and Newfoundland held PNP draws to invite immigration Candidates

In a significant week for Canadian immigration, three provinces—Manitoba, British Columbia, and Newfoundland and Labrador—have conducted their Provincial Nominee Program (PNP) draws, extending invitations to hundreds of immigration candidates across various streams. These draws underscore Canada's ongoing commitment to attracting skilled workers and entrepreneurs to meet provincial labour market needs and foster economic growth.

Manitoba Provincial Nominee Program (MPNP) Welcomes Skilled Workers and Graduates

The Manitoba Provincial Nominee Program (MPNP) held two draws on July 10, 2025, inviting a combined total of 67 candidates to apply for provincial nomination. The draws focused on two key immigration pathways: the International Education Stream (IES) and the Skilled Worker Stream (SWS).

A total of 40 Letters of Advice to Apply (LAAs) were issued through the Graduate Internship Pathway (GIP) under the International Education Stream, prioritizing individuals who completed their education within Manitoba. The Skilled Worker Stream saw 27 LAAs distributed, with a minimum score requirement of 673. Notably, 29 of the 67 LAAs were issued to candidates who had a valid Express Entry profile number and job seeker validation code, highlighting the MPNP's alignment with federal immigration programs.
