New Immigration Draws of British Columbia PNP- Over 364 candidates received ITA

The general and targeted draws of British Columbia Provincial Nominee Program (BC PNP) took place on October 12, 2022. In these draws, BC has issued more than 364 Invitations to Apply (ITAs) for provincial nomination.

In its Skill Immigration draws, British Columbia issues Targeted ITAs to the Skills Immigration categories usually based on one or more of the factors given below:

  • Education – level and field of education and where it was completed
  • Language skills
  • Occupation
  • Duration and skill level of work experience
  • Wage and/or skill level of job offer
  • Intent to live, work and settle in a specific region
  • Strategic priorities – factors that address specific labour market needs in B.C. or support government pilot projects and initiatives

BC PNP targeted draws on 12 October

In general daw (including Tech Occupations) held on 12th October, BC has issued most, i.e. 320 Invitations to Apply (ITAs) for provincial nomination. In the targeted draw for Childcare: Early childhood educators and assistants (NOC 4214), BC invited 25 candidates with a score of 60 points. Moreover, 19 candidates received ITA in Targeted draw: Healthcare.

The province also conducted targeted draws for key occupations, i.e. Healthcare, Healthcare: Health care assistants (NOC 3413), other priority occupations (NOCs 3114, 3213) inviting the 19, less than 5 and less than 5 candidates respectively. 

Entrepreneur Immigration invitations 

British Columbia also held draw for Entrepreneur immigration base category this month on October 4, 2022 to issue 5 Invitations with a score of 116 points.
