Latest Express Entry draw issues 787 ITAs to PNP candidates

The latest draw of Federal Express Entry System took place on 13 April 2022. This was again a program-specific draw by Immigration Refugees and Citizenship Canada (IRCC) to invite Provincial Nominee Program (PNP) candidates to apply for Canadian Permanent Residency (PR) Visa. Following the trend in last few month, the Express Entry candidates with provincial nomination received the invitation in this EE draw as well.

In this EE draw for PNP candidates, the IRCC invited 787 candidates with a CRS (Comprehensive Ranking System) score requirement of 782 points this time around. With this latest draw, now Canada has issued 7,257 ITAs this year for Canadian PR visa in total 8 Express entry draws held.

Canadian government easing measures 

The government of Canada has been easing the travel and other immigration measures to allow more and more new immigrants to apply for PR visa in Canada. Recently the government allocated the considerable funds in Canada National Budget 2022 to improve the immigration system and reduce the processing time of visa applications. As per latest announcement from the government, fully vaccinated travellers to Canada do not require any pre-entry Covid-19 Test from April 1, 2022.
