Express Entry -a Key Pathway to Canada PR in 2025?

Express Entry is Canada's online system for managing applications for permanent residence from skilled workers. It's not an immigration program itself, but rather a system used to rank and select candidates from three federal economic immigration programs: the Federal Skilled Worker Program (FSWP), the Federal Skilled Trades Program (FSTP), and the Canadian Experience Class (CEC). Candidates create an online profile, providing information about their skills, work experience, language ability, education, and other factors.

They are then assigned a Comprehensive Ranking System (CRS) score. The Canadian government regularly holds Express Entry draws, inviting the highest-scoring candidates to apply for permanent residence. In 2025, as in previous years, Express Entry remains a primary pathway for skilled workers seeking to immigrate to Canada, offering a streamlined and efficient process for those who qualify. Its focus on skills and experience makes it a key tool for Canada to attract qualified individuals who can contribute to the country's economy.
