Manitoba issue Letters of Advice to Skilled Workers from Overseas in Latest MPNP Draw

Manitoba's Provincial Nominee Program (MPNP) continues its commitment to attracting global talent, issuing 30 Letters of Advice to Apply (LAAs) to skilled worker candidates from overseas in its latest immigration draw held on May 29, 2025.

This invitation round, conducted under the popular Skilled Worker Overseas stream, offers a direct pathway for these selected candidates to pursue Canadian permanent residency. The MPNP actively seeks skilled individuals who can contribute to Manitoba's economy and integrate successfully into the province's communities.

The province invited 30 candidates from overseas who had the minimum score of 606 or more. This draw underscores Manitoba's ongoing efforts to address its labor market needs by strategically inviting qualified foreign nationals, providing a vital opportunity for those seeking to establish a new life in Canada.

Candidates invited in this draw were those who had been directly invited by the MPNP through a strategic recruitment initiative. Of the 30 LAAs issued, 5 were extended to individuals who had also declared a valid Express Entry profile number and job seeker validation code, potentially allowing for faster processing through the federal system. The lowest-ranked candidate invited in this draw had a score of 606.

The Skilled Worker Overseas stream is designed for skilled workers living outside Canada who have a strong connection to Manitoba and the skills needed in the provincial labor market. Eligibility typically requires meeting specific criteria related to factors such as language proficiency, age, work experience, education, and adaptability, including a connection to Manitoba through family, previous experience, or a direct invitation from the MPNP.
