Latest Express Entry Draw Targets Canadian Experience Class- 1,000 ITAs Issued

Immigration, Refugees and Citizenship Canada (IRCC) has conducted its latest invitation round through the Express Entry system, issuing 1,000 Invitations to Apply (ITAs) to candidates eligible under the Canadian Experience Class (CEC).

The November 26 draw is notable for marking a decrease in the minimum Comprehensive Ranking System (CRS) score required for selection. Candidates needed a CRS score of at least 531 to secure an invitation in this round. This is the lowest cut-off score recorded for a CEC-specific draw since July 8, breaking a recent gridlock where the score hovered between 533 and 534 for five consecutive CEC draws dating back to August 7.

Key Draw Details:

  • Draw Type: Canadian Experience Class (CEC)
  • ITAs Issued: 1,000
  • Minimum CRS Score: 531
  • Tie-Breaking Rule: October 08, 2025 at 19:02:26 UTC

IRCC also utilized a tie-breaking procedure for this draw. For candidates with exactly 531 points, only those who submitted their Express Entry profiles before October 8, 2025, at 7:02 p.m. UTC were invited.

The November 26 round is the fifth Express Entry draw overall this month, following recent invitations issued for Provincial Nominee Program (PNP) candidates on November 25, and a Healthcare category draw on November 14. To date in 2025, the federal government has issued 88,476 ITAs across all Express Entry streams. The focus of this year's draws has heavily centred on the PNP, followed by CEC and various category-based selections, as detailed below:

This event represents a shift in recent scheduling trends, as it is the second CEC draw to take place this month. Previously, IRCC had been conducting CEC draws on a roughly monthly basis. Despite the lower CRS requirement and increased draw frequency, the intake volume remained consistent; this is the sixth consecutive CEC draw where exactly 1,000 ITAs were issued.
