Latest draw of the BC PNP has granted 196 Invitations to Apply (ITAs)

The most recent draw of the British Columbia Provincial Nominee Program (BC PNP) has resulted in the issuance of 196 invitations to apply (ITAs). This draw signifies a significant milestone in the immigration process for eligible candidates. The BC PNP is actively striving to attract skilled workers and entrepreneurs who can make valuable contributions to the province's economic development.

By granting ITAs, the program offers individuals the opportunity to apply for permanent residency in British Columbia. This latest draw showcases the BC PNP's ongoing commitment to selecting candidates with the necessary skills and qualifications that align with the province's labor market requirements.

Who received the invitations?

Invitations to apply for the Skills Immigration streams may be targeted based on one or more of the following factors:

  • Education – level, and field of education and where it was completed.
  • Eligible professional designations in B.C.
  • Language skills.
  • Occupation.
  • Duration and skill level of work experience.
  • Wage and/or skill level of job offer.
  • Intent to live, work and settle in a specific region.
  • Strategic priorities - Factors that cater to the specific labor market requirements in British Columbia or contribute to government pilot projects and initiatives.

Category 1: General Draw

  • Total number of invitations: 151
  • Streams invited: Skilled Workers & International Graduates (including EEBC option) and Entry-Level & Semi-Skilled
  • Minimum score: 85-107

Category 2: Targeted Draw (Childcare: Early childhood educators and assistants (NOC 42202))

  • Total number of invitations: 26
  • Streams invited: Skilled Workers and International Graduates (including EEBC option)
  • Minimum score: 60

Category 3: Targeted Draw (Healthcare)

  • Total number of invitations: 14
  • Streams invited: Skilled Workers and International Graduates (including EEBC option)
  • Minimum score: 60

Category 4: Targeted Draw (Other Priority Occupations (NOCs 31103, 32104))

  • Total number of invitations: 5.
  • Streams invited: Skilled Workers and International Graduates (including EEBC option)
  • Minimum score: 60

The BC PNP regularly issues ITAs to eligible candidates, typically on a weekly basis, although there may be exceptions. The frequency, size, and date of the next BC PNP draw are determined based on the requirements of the BC PNP application inventory.
