IRCC Reduces CRS score to just 375 in Latest Express Entry Draw- Invites French-speaking candidates

The Immigration Refugees and Citizenship Canada (IRCC) continues to open back to back Express Entry draws. In the latest category-based Express Entry draw held on 12 July 2023, the IRCC invited the candidates with proficiency in French Language and CRS score just 375 Points or above. Category-based EE draw for French-speaking candidates

In new category-based Express Entry draw, the IRCC has issued 3,800 invitations to apply for Canada PR visa to Francophone candidates with CRS score just 375 points or above.

Now, after this latest draw, the IRCC has invited total 69,148 candidates year in overall 22 draws of federal EE system opened this year until date.

Category-based draws this year

This was 5th category-based draw opened this year and second for the Francophone candidates. Now in two dedicated category-based draws for French language proficiency, the IRCC has invited total 6,100 candidates to apply for Canadian Permanent Residency (PR) Visa. Here are the six new categories for which applicants may be eligible in category-based selection in EE draws:

  1. Healthcare
  2. Science, technology, engineering, and mathematics (STEM) professions
  3. Trades, such as carpenters, plumbers, and contractors
  4. Transport
  5. Agriculture and agri-food
  6. Strong French-language proficiency
