CRS Drops to 439 Points in 4th Express Entry draw of this week held on 7 July 2023

Canada has surprised all the applicants with fourth Express Entry draws in a row on July 7, 2023. This was 4th draw in last four days and sixth almost in a week and overall EE draw no.256. This new draw is a category-based Express Entry draw for candidates with French language proficiency. The CRS has dropped to the lowest of over two years for all-program EE draws. Category-based EE draw for French-speaking candidates

In this latest draw, the IRCC has issued 2,300 invitations to apply for Canadian PR visa to the French-speaking candidates. The CRS score in this draw dropped significantly to just 439 points.

Now, after this latest draw, the IRCC has invited total 64,548 candidates year in overall 20 EE draws opened in 2023 until date.

EE Draw Analysis

The IRCC has dropped the CUT OFF considerably for the Francophone only draw of federal Express Entry System. The CRS score in this draw is just 439 points, which is the lowest in last three years for a draw which inviting all three categories of EE system. This was the sixth draw in last one week and 4th EE draw in a row. Hence, in just one week, IRCC has invited 9,800 candidates to apply for Canadian Permanent Residency (PR) Visa.

This was also fourth category-based draw until date. In four category-based draws, the IRCC has invited three announced categories of the year 2023, i.e.

  • Healthcare
  • Science, technology, engineering, and mathematics (STEM) professions
  • Strong French-language proficiency

Category-based draws in 2023

Now, the IRCC is constantly opening the category-based draws. This was the 3rd category-based draw of EE system. Find below the six new categories for which applicants may be eligible in category-based selection in EE draws:

  1. Healthcare
  2. Science, technology, engineering, and mathematics (STEM) professions
  3. Trades, such as carpenters, plumbers, and contractors
  4. Transport
  5. Agriculture and agri-food
  6. Strong French-language proficiency
