IRCC Issues 3,500 Express Entry ITAs to Healthcare Workers in Lowest CRS Draw of the year

Immigration, Refugees and Citizenship Canada (IRCC) has announced the results of the latest Express Entry draw, issuing 3,500 Invitations to Apply (ITAs) for permanent residency to candidates under the Healthcare and social services occupations category.

The draw, which took place this month, featured a minimum Comprehensive Ranking System (CRS) cut-off score of 462, marking the lowest CRS requirement for any draw in this category during 2025. Candidates were also required to have created their Express Entry profile before 10:19 p.m., Universal Coordinated Time (UTC) on December 2, 2024.

Thus far in 2025, IRCC has issued a total of 86,699 ITAs across all Express Entry streams. The focus of draws this year has been predominantly on PNP candidates, alongside those in the CEC, French-language proficiency, and other priority occupation categories.
