CRS Drops to lowest of last three years in the latest Express Entry draw for CEC

The IRCC yet again opened back-to-back express entry draws in just two days. Within 24 hours of the last EE draw, IRCC has opened a new draw for CEC (Canadian Experience Class) candidates. The draw occurred on 11th June 2020. In fact, this express entry draw is also, special one, as the CRS score requirement in this draw is lowest since year 2017.

In the draw occurred yesterday, Immigration Refugees and Citizenship Canada (IRCC) invited 3,559 candidates with the CRS (Comprehensive Ranking System) score requirement of just 437 points.

Now, this year, the IRCC has issued total 46,000 invitations in 19 Express Entry Draws. This number is very high, if we compare it to the express entry invitations until this period, in last couple of years. The zigzag graph below clearly indicates the Express Entry draws held for PNP and CEC candidates, since March 2020.

However, now Canada is in process of easing out the containment measures for Covid-19. The experts are hoping for the regular FSW category draws opening very soon.
