CRS drops in the Express entry all program draw held on 5th August 2020

The much-awaited Express Entry all program draw took place on August 5, 2020 to invite 3,900 candidates to apply for Canadian permanent residency this time around. In this EE draw, the Immigration Refugees and Citizenship Canada (IRCC) has issued invitations to the candidates under different categories, i.e. Federal Skilled Worker (FSW), Canadian Experience Class (CEC), Federal Skilled Trades (FST), Provincial Nominee class, etc.

Latest All Program Express Entry Draw

In the 5th August draw, Immigration Refugees and Citizenship Canada (IRCC) has issued 3,900 ITAs with a minimum Comprehensive Ranking System (CRS) Score requirement of 476 points.

Express Entry Draw on 5th August 2020

There is a drop of two points in the cut off, compared to the last Express Entry all program draw. Now, Immigration Refugees and Citizenship Canada (IRCC) has issued total 61,600 invitations this year in 25 Express Entry Draws opened until 5th August.

This is the second all program draw opened after March this year, wherein the IRCC has invited candidates from all EE Categories. Hence, it is quite evident that Canadian government is trying to strike the balance between the all program draws as well as the program specific draws and taking one-step at a time while heading towards the normalcy after the Covid-19 caused disruption.
