Ontario invites record 2,844 candidates in Latest Skilled Trades Stream Draw of OINP

On 3 August 2023,  Ontario, Canada conducted a targeted draw for Skilled Trades Stream of Ontario Immigrant Nominee Program (OINP) to issue record 2,844 Notifications of Interest (NOIs) to apply for provincial nomination. This is the highest ever NOIs issued by Ontario for this particular stream of OINP. Find out more.

In this latest OINP draw, total 2,844 candidates received NOIs if they had a comprehensive ranking system (CRS) score of 250-516.

Other OINP draws on August 1, 2023

Draws for Masters, PhD Graduate and Foreign worker streams

  • On August 1, 2023, OINP issued 755 ITAs to potential applicants in the Expression of Interest system pool who may qualify for the Masters Graduate stream. Applicants only received an ITA if they had a score of 48 and above.
  • In a separate draw, OINP issued 84 invitations to apply to potential candidates in the EOI pool who may qualify under the PhD Graduate stream. Applicants only received an invitation if they had a score of 39 and above.
  • Ontario also held a draw for Employer Job Offer: Foreign Worker stream on 1 August to invite 1 candidate with a score range of 36 and above.
