Manitoba PNP occupation-specific & regular draw on 23 Feb invites 583 candidates

On 23 February 2023, Manitoba, Canada held the Occupation-specific as well as regular all-occupation draw of Manitoba Provincial Nominee Program (MPNP). In both MPNP draws, the MPNP has issued total 583 Letters of Advice (LAAs) to apply for provincial nomination. Find out more about this latest invitation round.

Occupation-specific Draw for Skilled Worker in Manitoba

This time around, Manitoba held a separate Occupation-Specific draw for Skilled Worker in Manitoba category. In this draw, the province invited the 207 candidates who showed present employment in province of Manitoba in occupations with the highest-anticipated labour shortages. The minimum score requirement was 615 points for this occupation based draw. These occupations were recognised in the most recent Manitoba Labour Market Outlook.

• Transport and transit drivers (7330)
• Retail and wholesale trade managers (6002)
• Nursing and allied health professionals (3130)
• Assisting occupations in education (4310)
• Secondary, elementary and kindergarten school teachers (4122)
• Hairstylists and estheticians (6321)
• Automotive service technicians (7241)
• Paraprofessional occupations in legal, social, community and education services (4220)
• Retail salespersons and non-technical wholesale trade sales and account representatives (6410)
• Office support and court services occupations (1410)

Regular MPNP Draw for All occupations/categories

In the second MPNP draw held on 23 Feb 2023, the province of Manitoba invited all occupations and categories. The skilled workers stream received 298 letters of advice with a minimum score of 693, while International Education Stream received 51 invitations.
