Manitoba issued 28 Letters of Advice in the MPNP- Special Immigration Measure Ukraine Draw

Manitoba, Canada held the 13th Special Immigration Measure draw of Manitoba Provincial Nominee Program (MPNP) on April 17, 2023. The province of Manitoba conducts these special draws in response to the situation in Ukraine and in line with IRCC’s special immigration measures for those affected.

As per the province, MPNP will hold regular EOI draws for people who fulfil all MPNP eligibility criteria and are affected by ongoing situation in Ukraine.

Latest MPNP- Special Immigration Measure Ukraine Draw

In this special draw held on 17th April, Manitoba has issued 28 Letters of Advice (LAAs) to apply for provincial nomination to the eligible candidates from Ukraine.

The Expressions of Interest (EOIs) from the applicants have only been considered if the applicants,

• are a citizen of Ukraine;
• have at least CLB 4 in each language band (English/French).
• have well-known connection to Manitoba (close relative, family-like, community, previous employment or studies in Manitoba);
• have a valid language test;
• score minimum 60 points according to MPNP assessment criteria; and
• can satisfy all other requirements of the Skilled Worker Overseas pathway, including adequate settlement funds.

MPNP - Skilled Worker Overseas

The Skilled Worker Overseas (SWO) stream of Manitoba Provincial Nominee Program (MPNP) is largely popular among the skilled professionals seeking to obtain Permanent Resident (PR) Visa in Manitoba (Canada). It invite, assess and nominates the candidates who show an established connection to Manitoba through:

• the support of family members or friends;
• Past education or work experience in the province; or
• an Invitation to Apply received directly from the MPNP as part of a Strategic Recruitment Initiative.
