Latest all-program Express Entry draw invites 4,300 candidates to apply for Canada PR

Express Entry draw on 27 June 2023

In this new draw, the IRCC has invited 4,300 express entry candidates with a CRS (Comprehensive Ranking System) score of 486 points or above. Now, the EE system has issued total 59,048 invitations this year in 15 EE draws opened until date.

New EE Draw Analysis

The issued number of invitations remained over 4,000 yet again though, the number of ITAs have been reduced compare to last draw. On the other hand the CRS score remained unchanged at 486 points. Now, the IRCC is constantly holding the all-program draws and in draws to come to the CUT OFF may reduce as well in the interest of the applicants.

Category-based EE draws

Now, the IRCC will conduct three types of draws. Along with existing all-program (general) and program-specific draws, now, IRCC has announced to conduct the category based draws. In 2023, it will target below categories.

• A strong French language proficiency or
• Work experience in the below fields:
  • healthcare
  • science, technology, engineering, and mathematics (STEM) professions
  • trades, such as carpenters, plumbers and contractors
  • transport
  • agriculture and Agri-food

Hence, now, the IRCC will hold, three types of Express Entry draws in tandem, i.e.

• Regular all-program draws
• Program-specific draws, i.e. PNP category draw only and
• Category-based draws (based on above listed categories)

Hence, it is good news for the applicants as the criteria for selection will not be CUT OFF alone and the applicants can get ITA (Invitation to Apply) based on their occupation as well.
