Canadian PNPs to invite 105,500 new immigrants in 2023- Apply for right PNP now

The Provincial Nominee Programs (PNPs) of Canada provide a vital pathway to get PR (Permanent Residence) visa in Canada. The applicants, who are not able to get the Invitation to Apply (ITA) for Canadian PR Visa through Express Entry system due to relatively low Comprehensive Ranking System (CRS) point score, can apply to a relevant PNP to get nomination for PR visa.

The nomination received from a Provincial Nominee Program (PNP) makes an applicant eligible to get 600 CRS points in his/her express entry account. Such improved CRS score make applicant eligible to get the Invitation to Apply (ITA) from IRCC (Immigration Refugees, and Citizenship Canada) in the subsequently Express Entry draw.

PNPs to invite more candidates than Express Entry

As per Canada immigration levels plan 2023-2025, the Canadian government will accept 431,645 new permanent residents in the year 2023. The Provincial Nominee Programs (PNPs) of Canada will accept most number of newcomers (i.e. 105,500 new permanent residents) compare to all other immigration categories, i.e. Express Entry, AIP, etc.

Economic Immigration Target 2023 for different categories

In fact, most popular immigration program of Canada, i.e. federal Express Entry System is also inviting lesser number of new immigrants (i.e. 82,800) than the PNPs of Canada. Hence, 2023 is the best time to apply for relevant PNP, get the nomination for Canadian PR visa and subsequently, obtain the PR (Permanent Residence) in Canada.

Especially, if your CRS points score is not close to CUT OFF marks (i.e. 491 points in last EE draw), its wise to prepare your immigration file and apply to the Express Entry linked stream of a relevant PNP to be nominated at earliest for PR visa.

Apply for the most appropriate PNP now

If you are all set to apply for Canadian PR (Permanent Resident) Visa through a PNP, here are a few most active and popular Canadian Provincial Nominee Programs (PNPs):

  • Ontario Immigrant Nominee Program (OINP)
  • Alberta Advantage Immigration Program (AAIP)
