Canadian PNPs invited 7,666 Immigration Candidates in First Half of Feb 2024

In the first half of this month, Canadian Provincial Nominee Programs (PNPs) extended invitations to more than 7,000 candidates, highlighting their crucial role in Canada's immigration landscape. With a national immigration target set at 110,000 for the 2024, PNPs appear as a critical pathway for potential immigrants. Let’s take a look at key PNP draws opened in last two weeks.

Ontario PNP Draws 6 and 8 February

Ontario opened three draws for Ontario Immigrant Nominee Program (OINP) on 6 and 8 February 2024 respectively. Here are the details:

  • 8 Feb: PNP- Human Capital Priorities (HCP) Stream sent 2,118 Notifications of Interest (NOIs) to apply for provincial nomination to the candidates who had the CRS Score range between 471–480 points.

 

  • 8 Feb: Employer Job Offer: International Student stream issued 2,434 ITAs (Invitations to Apply) for provincial nomination.

 

  • 6 Feb: On February 6, 2024, Ontario held the latest draw of OINP- Human Capital Priorities (HCP) Stream to issue 2,086 Notifications to the candidates who had CRS score ranging between 379-430.

 Alberta PNP Draws (1 and 6 February)

Alberta conducted two draws of Alberta Advantage Immigration Program (AAIP)- Express Entry stream on 1 and 6 February 2024. Find below the details:

  • 6 FebruaryThe AAIP draw opened, total 44 Notifications issued with a CRS score requirement of just 302 points.

 

  • 1 FebruaryThe Alberta held AAIP draw opened, total 80 Notifications issued with a required CRS score of 382 points.

Prince Edward Island PNP Draws (1 and 15 Feb)

  • 15 Feb: Prince Edward Island held the latest immigration draw to issue 122 invitations under Business Work Permit Entrepreneur and Labour & Express Entry stream of PEI PNP.

 

  • 1 Feb: The PEI opened the latest draw for the Labour and Express Entry stream to issue 78  invitations to candidates under Labour and Express Entry stream of Prince Edward Island PNP.

British Columbia PNP Draws (6 and 13 Feb)

  • 13 Feb: British Columbia held the latest draw of BC PNP to issue nearly 204 invitations to apply for provincial nomination.

 

  • 6 Feb: British Columbia opened new draws of British Columbia Provincial Nominee Program (BC PNP) to issue 218 ITAs (Invitations to Apply) for provincial nomination.

Manitoba PNP Draw On February 8, 2024

Manitoba held the latest draws of Manitoba Provincial Nominee Program (MPNP) to issue 282 Letters of Advice (LAAs) to apply for provincial nomination for Canadian PR visa.
