British Columbia PNP Conducted 5 Targeted Draws on 14th March 2022 to invite candidates

British Columbia, Canada conducted five targeted draws of BC PNP (British Columbia Provincial Nominee Program) on March 14, 2022 to invite nearly 171 candidates to apply for provincial nomination. It is the first time BC PNP has held five separate draws on the same date to issue ITAs (Invitations to Apply) to candidates with different occupation categories. Find out more. 

Five Targeted Draws of BC PNP

The BC PNP invite the candidates in the registration pool to submit an application to the program. The ITAs are allocated based on the information provided in registrations. The BC rank, select and invite candidates, based on one or more of the following aspects:

  • Education – level and field of education and where it was completed
  • Language skills
  • Occupation
  • Duration and skill level of work experience
  • Wage and/or skill level of job offer
  • Intent to live, work and settle in a specific region
  • Strategic priorities – factors that address specific labour market needs in B.C. or support government pilot projects and initiatives

Key highlights of this BC PNP draw

  • The BC issued highest, i.e. 123 ITAs to Skilled Worker International category this time around, targeting the Tech Workers.
  • The points requirement is 85 points for all invited categories except Entry Level and Semi-Skilled category, which invited candidates with 63 points or above.
  • The BC invited 27 Skilled Worker, International Graduate category candidates in the Targeted draw for Childcare: Early childhood educators (NOC 4214)
  • 21 candidates received ITA under Skilled Worker, International Graduate category. It was a Targeted draw: Healthcare (unless listed below)
