6th Express entry draw of the year- IRCC invites 667 PNP candidates

The IRCC has yet again opened an Express Entry draw for Provincial Nominee Program (PNP) candidate only. In this draw the Immigration Refugees and Citizenship Canada (IRCC) has issued 667 ITAs (Invitations to Apply) for Canadian PR visa to the PNP candidates. This is the 4th program-specific draw and 6th Express Entry draw overall this year.

Latest Express Entry draw on 1 March

In 1st March draw; the IRCC has invited 667 express entry candidates with a CRS (Comprehensive Ranking System) score of 748 points or above. The candidates invited in this draw already had a provincial nomination and 600 extra CRS points obtained based on the nomination only.

Now, after this latest EE draw, the IRCC has issued total 16,559 invitations to apply for the Canadian PR Visa, in overall 6 EE draws opened this year until date. 

EE Draw Analysis

This year, the IRCC has opened 2 all-program draws and 4 program-specific draws of federal Express Entry System. Out of four program specific draws, three were for PNP candidates, while one was for Federal Skilled Worker (FSW) category candidates only. Although, the FSW candidates may be anxious about their ITAs, however, these PNP only draws will help in a way, as they invite all top-ranking candidates and thus, CUT OFF ultimately drops in the subsequent draws.
