Saskatchewan is western Canadian province bordering USA in south. It's the favorite of new immigrants for multiple reasons, i.e. ease of immigration, new opportunities, quality of life, enhance infrastructure facilities, etc. Saskatchewan Immigrant Nominee Program (SINP) is the program that allows immigrants to apply and get the provincial nomination for PR in Canada.
SINP is the program that allows the skilled workers from overseas to submit their Expression of Interest (EOI) and subsequently receive the ITA (Invitation to apply) for nomination from Saskatchewan. Let's take a look at the Saskatchewan Immigration Latest News 2018.
Latest SINP news 2018
Saskatchewan PNP has been in news for last few weeks in view of its key rule changes and updates. Let's take a look at few among the recent SINP news and updates.
Saskatchewan Immigrant Nominee Program (SINP) implemented it much awaited Expression of Interest (EOI) based system to accept the application from the applicants under its Occupation in Demand (OID) and Express Entry Streams.
Earlier, Saskatchewan PNP used to accept the applications through 'first come, first served' pattern by opening periodic SINP application intakes. However with effect from July 16, 2018, the provincial government launched the new EOI based system. As per the new EOI system, applicants get enough time to create a profile and submit EOI in SINP. The applicants will get a definite point score based on the key profile factors entered by him/her, i.e. age, education, work experience, language proficiency level, etc. The candidates scoring minimum 60 points and also meeting the other eligibility requirements will find place in the pool of candidates. Now, the selected applicants receive Invitation to Apply (ITA) for provincial nomination via periodic draws by SINP.<>/p
In an important announcement, Saskatchewan PNP announced the date of its first two EOI based SINP draws. As per this announcement, the first two SINP Draws were scheduled to be held on September 19 and November 21, 2018.<>
Contradicting to its earlier announcement, Saskatchewan Immigrant Nominee Program (SINP) launched its first EOI based draw on August 21, 2018. The first EOI based draw of SINP issued 466 invitations to the registered applicants in SINP pool, with qualifying marks 68 or more out of 100. Saskatchewan also updated the SINP in demand occupation list on the same date, i.e. August 21, 2018.

Our experience with Visas Avenue has been a good one. Though initially there was some delay due to the case manager being changed, when my case was taken up by Ms. Priyanka Kandwal, the process has been pretty smooth. I would like to thank her and the team for their patience while handling our case and would like to commend their knowledge and expertise when it comes to the rules and regulations of the whole process. I would highly recommend them for the PR application process and already have done so. Wishing them all the best!!

Thank you Visas Avenue for the wonderful efforts and professionalism to see my application through and get my PR. Would like to use this platform to thank your entire team, especially Arpita and Mrigya who were the ones handling my case and constantly following up diligently to get the documents and timely applications in place.
