Western Australia has Implemented Key changes to its Migration Program for 2022-23

The government of Western Australia (WA) has imposed some key changes to its State Nomination Migration Program 2022-23. The changes included adding of occupations and changes to State nomination requirements, etc. The WA has applied these changes to support skilled workers looking to migrate to the state of Western Australia. Key changes to WA Migration Program 2022-23

Through new changes, WA wants to lure more overseas skilled professionals to arrive in the state. The state has increased the occupations eligible for skilled migration in WA by around 60 percent.

Find out details of key changes imposed in WA Migration Program 2022-23:

• New occupations- WA has added new occupations to the Western Australian Skilled Migration Occupation List Schedule 1 (WASMOL Schedule 1) and the Western Australian Skilled Migration Occupation List Schedule 2 (WASMOL Schedule 2). • Waiver of fee- The Western Australia Government has also waived the $200 application fee and
• Changes in Requirements- Changes to the requirements for new applicants from 1 July 2022, including:
• Removal of the requirement to show enough funds for WA State nomination.
• Reduction in the English requirements for applicants at the Manager and Professional occupation level to the "competent" level of English.
• Changes to the document requirements for the WASMOL Schedule 1 & 2 and the Graduate Occupation lists based on the visa the applicant is being nominated for. Take a look:
