Australian state, New South Wales is now considering the Offshore candidates skilled in some key occupations within some ANZSCO unit groups in periodic invitation rounds. These unit groups are recognized with a tick (?) in NSW Skilled Occupation List.
The NSW Skilled Nominated visa (subclass 190) occupation list is by ANZSCO unit group. You must have skill assessment in an occupation that is both eligible for Subclass 190 visa and within an ANZSCO unit group to get invitation in an invitation round.
Work experience requirement
An applicant now must have at least 3 years work experience in the nominated (or closely related) occupation for occupations within some ANZSCO unit groups. These unit groups are recognized with a tick (?) under the 'Experience' column in the NSW Occupation list. The work experience requirement (where appropriate) applies to both onshore and offshore candidates. Changes apply to all SkillSelect EOIs regardless of when they were submitted or amended.
