Will IRCC Consider dropping cut off significantly in upcoming Express Entry draws this year?

By Rajneesh Kumar Posted 03, Dec 2019

visas default image In the federal express entry immigration system of Canada, tens of thousands of skilled workers are registered from various countries. All these applicants wait for each every express entry draw eagerly, hoping that they will get invitations for Canadian permanent residency, this time around from IRCC (Immigration Refugees and Citizenship Canada). Though, the in last three draws, the CRS (Comprehensive Ranking System) score requirement from IRCC has been dropped slightly, however, the deduction was not enough to please tens of thousands of applicants, desperately waiting for their chance. Now, all eyes are on the upcoming, i.e. 1st express entry draw of the December 2019.

What are the chances of considerable Drop in CRS in 2019?

In the year 2019, the CRS score demand from IRCC has been quite unpredictable. The lowest this year was 438 points in the first month itself, whereas, the highest score touched the mark of 475 points.   As per express entry pools status on November 23, 2019, more than 15,000 candidates are there in the EE pool with CRS score ranging between 451 and 1200. Now, with just two draws left this year (considering fortnightly draw opening trend), it is unlikely that the CRS score requirement come down below the mark of 451 this year. Though, you can expect the same to fall down to a considerable mark next year.
