Trump Suspends the H1B Visa for the year 2020 - Is Canada the Right Alternate for aspirants

visas default image The US President Donald Trump has extended the suspension of H1B and other key employment visas until the year-end. Trump has passed an order that will limit immigration to the US for the year 2020. This order is applicable from 24th June 2020 and expires by the end of this year, i.e. 31st December 2020. This will affect the applicants from India to a great deal, as Indians apply for this visa in most numbers compared to any other country.

US suspends H1B and other work visas

The suspension applies to H-1B, L, and other temporary work permits. Although, Trump administration is justifying its decision on the grounds of protecting the local workers, hit by the Covid-19 pandemic, however, the decision not welcomed by the Tech industry in the United States of America.
