Tech Pilot draw of British Columbia opens on June 11, 2019- BC Invites 57 candidates

visas default image British Columbia province of Canada has launched the latest draw of Tech Pilot Program under BCPNP (British Columbia Provincial Nominee Program). The draw issued total 57 invitations this time around, under various streams of the British Columbia PNP. The BCPNP launches its tech pilot and regular draws periodically to invite candidates to apply for provincial nomination.

In the 11th June draw Tech Pilot Draw, British Columbia issued total 57 invites under key streams, i.e. Skilled Worker and International Graduate streams. Minimum points score requirement was 90 points for the candidates invited under all four streams this time around.

How Tech Pilot works

In Tech Pilot of British Columbia Provincial Nominee Program, BC issues invites per week to the skilled and talented applicants, who possess an employment offer in the main technology occupations. These invites are sent via periodic tech pilot.

However, in case, your occupation is not listed in the main technology occupations, you can still be eligible to submit application depending on your profile. The BC will continue to organize periodic draws to invite suitable applicants through many different occupations, keeping in mind annual quota of nomination allocation as well as capacity of the program itself.

Regular BCPNP draw

The province of British Columbia launched its regular draw as well last week, i.e. on June 4, 2019 to invite total 274 candidates under key BCPNP streams, i.e. SI - Skilled Worker, SI - Entry Level and Semi-Skilled and EEBC - International Graduate streams, etc. The minimum point score requirement ranged from 75 to 105 for different streams. The lowest (75 points) being for SI - Entry Level and Semi-Skilled stream and highest (i.e. 105 points) for EEBC - Skilled Worker stream.
