Tasmanian Skilled Migration State Nomination Program Now Open for Registrations

As per the latest update, the Tasmanian Skilled Migration State Nomination Program is now open for Registrations of Interest (ROIs) from applicants meeting the minimum eligibility criteria, including those eligible for an Orange Pass.

Furthermore, the new migration Tasmania application gateway is expected to go-live in the first week of December 2022. Meanwhile, the existing interim ROI process will be in place until the new gateway is being tested and finalized for deployment.

To get invitation via current interim process, candidates must:

• Have at least a gold attribute for the selected pathway to immediately get invited to apply for nomination, or
• Have at least a green attribute for the selected pathway to get invited to apply for nomination within 2 weeks, or
• Have orange attributes to get invited for application submission for nomination under until early December

Please note that those who you are not invited before 9th December 2022, their registration will expire, and must register their interest in the new Migration Tasmania Application Gateway to get an invitation to apply for nomination.

Register your Interest during the Current Interim Period

In order to register your interest for nomination under current interim period, you may follow the steps mentioned below:

• Meet the eligibility criteria, i.e.,
  • age below 45 years
  • have positive skills assessment for selected occupation listed on one of the Skilled Occupation Lists
  • have a minimum of ‘Competent’ level English proficiency
  • score a minimum of 65 points on the points test
• Register your Expression of Interest (EOI) via SkillSelect
• Meet the minimum eligibility requirements for selected Tasmanian nomination pathway
• Complete the Request for Invitation form for selected nomination pathway by:
  • indicating which Gold or Green attributes you have
  • attaching your EOI, skills assessment, CV, English test result and valid passport copy
• Apply for nomination along a non-refundable fee of $220, if
  • you receive an invitation to apply along with a link to complete application

Please note that the invitation to lodge your application will be valid for a maximum of 14 days.
