South Australia’s Business Innovation & Investment Program is now open for 2022-23

The Business Innovation and Investment Program (BIIP) of Australian state of South Australia (SA) is now open from 8 September 2022 for the program year 2022-23. The Business Migration program invite, assess and select the high quality business owners, investors and entrepreneurs, who can

create candid and viable business opportunities in the state of South Australia, including in the regions, which advantage the economy of SA, local businesses and the workforce.

SA Business Innovation & Investment Program 

For this program year, there will be 4 visa streams available for nomination under the Business Innovation and Investment visa (subclass 188), i.e.

• Business Innovation Stream (188A)  
• Investor Stream (188B) 
• Significant Investor Stream (188C) 
• Entrepreneur Stream (188E) 

This year, the program will is expected to be competitive considering the fact that South Australia has received limited interim allocation of 70 nomination places from the Department of Home Affairs (DHA), Australia. Hence, applicants for the Business Innovation Stream (188A) will be required to submit an ITA for consideration.  The SA Government’s KEY objectives for the business migration program are to:

• Lure high quality investment into the SA economy.
• Raise employment in South Australia.
• Drive innovation to make SA more productive and competitive.

Before submitting an invitation to apply for 188A only or application, you must read SA’s BIIP nomination requirements for the 2022-23 program year to confirm if you are eligible for state nomination. 

SA Skilled migration program is already open

The skilled migration program of South Australia has already opened last month and inviting the offshore applicants and now, BIIP has started inviting the applications, which is a good news for interested aspirants. It is open for key Skilled PR visas, i.e.

• Skilled Nominated Visa Subclass 190
• Skilled Work Regional (Provisional) Visa Subclass 491
