South Australia to open 2022-23 Business Innovation & Investment Program on 8 September

Australian State South Australia to open 2022-23 Business Innovation & Investment Program (BIIP) on 8 September 2022. For this program year, SA has received an interim allocation of 70 Business Innovation and Investment Program (BIIP) nomination places from Department of Home Affairs, Australia.

To make certain the nomination of high-quality business owners, investors and entrepreneurs (i.e. who can best contribute to SA’s economic success and workforce requirements), and to administer the limited number of nomination places available, Skilled & Business Migration is taking the key measures.  

Skilled & Business Migration key Measures

Find below the key measures being taken by the Skilled & Business Migration:

• Business Innovation Stream (Subclass 188A)
  candidates need to submit an ITA (Intention to apply) for consideration. South Australia may invite the ITAs from high quality candidates, who can create genuine and workable business opportunities in SA, may be invited to apply for state nomination.   
• Investor Stream (Subclass 188B) and Significant Investor Stream (Subclass 188C)

    Evaluating applications from applicants for Subclass 188B and     Subclass 188C by considering each application on its merits and the     broader benefit to SA. 

• Entrepreneur Stream (Subclass 188E)
  Candidates under this stream will continue to need the endorsement of an approved Service Provider before submitting a state nomination application.

The Skilled Migration Program 2022-23 of South Australia is already open on 25 August 2022 for onshore and offshore applicants. The interim nomination allocation of SA is 5,880 places in the General Skilled Migration program for this program year. It is open for key Skilled PR visas, i.e.

• Skilled Nominated Visa Subclass 190
• Skilled Work Regional (Provisional) Visa Subclass 491
