Saskatchewan drops the minimum score to lowest once again in latest SINP Draw

Saskatchewan has yet again dropped the minimum score to the lowest mark, i.e. 60 points in latest draw of SINP- International Skilled Worker (ISW) Category opened on September 15, 2022. In this draw, the province has invited candidates registered under key ISW subcategories of Saskatchewan Immigrant Nominee Program (SINP), i.e.

  • Express Entry subcategory and
  • OID (Occupation in Demand) Sub-category

New SINP Draw on 15 September

Saskatchewan has issued 53 invitations to the Express Entry subcategory, while 273 candidates received ITAs under OID (Occupation in Demand) Sub-category. The minimum score requirement remains at lowest, i.e. just 60 points second time in the row. In the previous draw also (held on 7 September), Saskatchewan invited candidates with just 60 points for selected occupations.

Invited occupations in latest SINP draw

The occupations, selected and were eligible for the EOI selection on September 15, 2022, have the following NOC classification numbers:

  • 7237- Welders and related machine operators
  • 7241- Electricians (except industrial and power system)
  • 7242- Industrial electricians
  • 7271- Carpenters
  • 7312- Heavy-duty equipment mechanics
  • 7321- Automotive service technicians, truck and bus mechanics and mechanical repairers
