Prince Edward Island Invited 127 Candidates in the Latest PEI PNP Draw

Prince Edward Island in its latest PNP draw has issued 127 ITAs (Invitations to Apply) for provincial nomination to Labour and Express Entry and Business Work Permit Entrepreneur stream candidates. The PEI open the draw for Prince Edward Island Provincial Nominee Program (PEI PNP) third week of every month.

Hence, the applicants were eagerly waiting for this draw. Let us find out more details of this latest draw.

Out of total 127 invitations issued in the latest PEI PNP draw, 118 went to Labour and Express Entry stream candidates, while Business Work Permit Entrepreneur stream candidates received 9 invitations only with a minimum point threshold of 75 points.

Post this 15th July invitation round, now Prince Edward Island has invited total 1,033 candidates this year under both regular immigration streams of Prince Edward Island Provincial Nominee Program (PEI PNP).

• Business Invitations in 12 months - 10%
• Labour Invitations in last 12 months - 90%

PEI Express Entry

To become eligible for nomination through PEI Express Entry, you need to:

• fulfil the criteria of minimum one of the Federal Economic Immigration programs under the Express Entry System, i.e. 

• • Federal Skilled Worker Program;
  • Federal Skilled Trades Program; or

• Canadian Experience Class 

• Create a Federal EE Profile and get a place in the pool of candidates. 

 There are two pathways to PR through the PEI Express Entry Category, depending on if you have an Employment offer in PEI or not.  Priority will be given to candidates that are living and working in PEI.
