Ontario invites 510 candidates in OINP- Skilled Trades Stream draw on 9 Feb 2023

Ontario held the draw for Ontario Immigrant Nominee Program (OINP) - Skilled Trades stream on February 9, 2023 to issue 510 Letters of Advice (LAAs) to apply for provincial nomination. This was the second Skilled trades stream draw this year, as the first one held on 13 January only. Find out more about this latest draw.

Since 9th Feb draw was a targeted draw, therefore, the province of Ontario invited 510 candidates with CRS (Comprehensive Ranking System) score range 260-489 and experience in some targeted occupations.

Occupations invited in this draw

Ontario has issued targeted notifications to candidates who may be eligible for Ontario’s Express Entry Skilled Trades stream. The selected applicants only received a NOI if they meet CRS requirement and had work experience in the below NOC Codes:

• NOC 72024 - Supervisors, motor transport and other ground transit operators
• NOC 72106 - Welders and related machine operators
• NOC 72204 - Telecommunications line and cable installers and repairers
• NOC 72310 - Carpenters
• NOC 73112 - Painters and decorators (except interior decorators)

Apart from Skilled trade, Ontario’s OINP- Human Capital Priorities (HCP) Stream and French-Speaking skilled worker streams are also largely popular among skilled worker applicants looking to get Canadian Permanent Residency (PR) Visa.
