Ontario opens draw for HCP and French-speaking stream to invite 828 Express Entry candidates

On February 8, 2022, Ontario PNP has opened the draws for its OINP- Express Entry Human Capital Priorities (HCP) and French-speaking Skilled Worker Streams. In both these draws, Ontario has issued total 828 Notifications of Interest (NOIs) to apply for provincial nomination to the Express Entry candidates eligible for both HCP and French-speaking streams of Ontario Immigrant Nominee Program (OINP). Ontario Express Entry – HCP stream draw

The OINP- Human Capital Priorities (HCP) is one of the most popular immigration streams of Ontario PNP. The province invited 622 candidates under HCP stream in 8th February draw. You can apply to this stream if you:

• got a notification of interest on February 8, 2022
• Can show that your work experience was in one of the eligible National Occupational Classification (NOC) codes listed below.

In this HCP stream draw, Ontario has targeted applicants with a CRS (comprehensive ranking system) score between 463 and 467 and work experience in the following NOC codes:

• 0213 Computer and information systems managers
• 2147 Computer engineers
• 2172 Database analysts and data administrators
• 2173 Software engineers and designers
• 2174 Computer programmer and interactive media developers
• 2175 Web designers and developers

The OINP can deny your application, if you do now show work experience in one of the eligible NOC codes.

OINP- French Speaking Skilled Worker Stream draw

In the second draw on 8th February, the OINP issued 206 NOIs (notifications of interest) to prospective applicants, who may qualify for Ontario’s French-Speaking Skilled Worker stream. The OINP targeted candidates with a CRS score between 463 and 467. You can apply to this OINP stream if you received a notification of interest on February 8, 2022.

Ontario Immigrant Nominee Program (OINP)

The OINP is going to be a crucial immigration pathway in 2022. It invites the candidates with relatively low CRS point score compared to federal Express Entry System. Ontario has three most popular immigration streams. Find out the Notifications of interest (NOIs) issued in 2022 to date under these three streams of OINP:

• Human Capital Priorities stream – 1,124
• French-Speaking Skilled Worker stream – 206
• Skilled Trades stream – 1,032

Since, all these streams are aligned with federal Express Entry System; therefore, to apply to any of these streams, you must have your profile registered in the EE system.
