Ontario opens the draw to invite French-Speaking Skilled Worker stream Candidates

In the latest draw of Ontario Immigrant Nominee Program (OINP) occurred on 28 April 2022, Ontario has issued the notifications of interest for Ontario’s Express Entry French-Speaking Skilled Worker stream. The province has issued invitations to potential applicants, who may qualify for Ontario’s French-Speaking Skilled Worker stream. This is the first draw of this stream in April and second draw overall this year.

Ontario Draw for French-Speaking Skilled Worker Stream

If you have received the Notifications of Interest (NOIs) to apply for provincial nomination on 28 April, you can apply to this stream. Ontario has issued total 301 NOIs in this invitation round with a CRS score range of 460-467. Now, after this latest round, Ontario has invited total 507 francophone candidates this year in two relevant draws of this stream.

Three key streams of Ontario PNP

The French-Speaking skilled worker stream is one of the three main Express Entry linked streams of Ontario Immigrant Nominee Program (OINP) along with Skilled Trades and Human Capital Priorities (HCP) Stream. Here are key OINP streams and NOIs issued in 2022 to date under these main streams:

• Human Capital Priorities stream – 1897
• French-Speaking Skilled Worker stream – 507
• Skilled Trades stream – 3355

The EE stream helps the applicants obtain 600 additional CRS points in their express entry account, which in turn help them get the ITA (Invitation to apply) for Canadian Permanent Residency (PR) Visa from Immigration Refugees and Citizenship Canada (IRCC).
