Ontario invites 772 candidates of Masters Graduate stream in latest OINP draw

On August 30, 2023, Canadian province Ontario issued invitations to apply to probable candidates in the Expression of Interest (EOI) system pool who may qualify for the Masters Graduate stream of Ontario Immigrant Nominee Program (OINP). The candidates only received an ITA (Invitation to Apply) if they had a score of 44 and above. Find out more about this invitation round of OINP.

In this latest draw, Ontario issued 772 ITAs (Invitations to Apply) for provincial nomination to the profiles created between November 22, 2022 and August 30, 2023, and who had score of 44 and above.

Eligibility Criteria to apply for Master Graduate Stream 

To apply:

  • Check the Masters Graduate stream process determine if you meet the requirements
  • Explore the document checklists for the Masters Graduate stream to make certain you have the mandatory documents
  • Log in to the OINP e-Filing Portal and click the newly created file number with the prefix NMAS.

OINP Masters Graduate stream

The Masters Graduate stream offers foreign graduates with an Ontario master’s degree the opportunity to apply to live and work in Ontario on a permanent basis.

You must first register in the EOI System of Ontario Immigrant Nominee Program (OINP) and get an invitation to apply before you can apply online to be nominated by the Ontario government for permanent residence.

Once you are nominated by the province of Ontario, your next step is to apply for PR to the Immigration Refugees and Citizenship Canada (IRCC). The IRCC make the final decision on who becomes a permanent resident.
