New MPNP Draw- Manitoba invites candidates under Skilled Worker stream

The Manitoba PNP conducted a draw on March 6, 2025, and distributed 111 Letters of Advice to Apply (LAAs). These invitations were extended to qualified individuals in the Skilled Worker Streams, encompassing both those within Manitoba and overseas applicants. Successful nominees can then proceed with an application for provincial nomination, which is a pathway to Canadian permanent residency.

Key Highlights from the 6 March MPNP Draw:

In this latest draw, 111 LAAs issued to candidates registered under below two streams:

  • Skilled Worker in Manitoba Stream- All eligible Skilled Worker in Manitoba profiles were considered.
  • Skilled Worker Overseas- Profiles that declared being directly invited by the MPNP under a strategic recruitment initiative.

Out of the 111 invited candidates 27 were selected from the Express Entry pool, based on their valid job seeker validation codes.

Key Information Regarding EOI Selection:

  • Strategic Recruitment Initiatives:
    • Expressions of Interest (EOIs) from Skilled Worker Overseas candidates are considered only if they receive a direct invitation from the MPNP under a strategic recruitment initiative.
  • Reasons for Not Receiving a Letter of Advice to Apply (LAA):
    • Even if your score is higher than the lowest-ranked candidate, you may not receive an LAA if:
      • You indicated you took an approved third-party language test but:
        • Did not provide a valid test number in your EOI.
        • Your language test is no longer valid.
      • You indicated you received an Invitation to Apply under a strategic recruitment initiative but did not provide a valid invitation number.
  • EOI Help Text:
    • Detailed help text is available for each question in the EOI, providing guidance on the required information.
    • If any of the above scenarios apply, consider updating your EOI with the correct details for future draws.
  • Regulated Occupations:
    • Candidates indicating, they are working in a regulated occupation and are fully licensed in Manitoba have been selected in this draw.
    • However, the MPNP may reject applications from candidates who:
      • Are not actually working in a regulated occupation.
      • Fail to provide proof of completing all necessary licensing steps for employment in Manitoba.
    • If this applies to you, consider declining your LAA.
