In the Entrepreneur stream draw of British Columbia Provincial Nominee Program (BC PNP) held on 24 October 2023, British Columbia issued nearly 10 invitations.

Invitations for entrepreneurs eligible under the EI Regional Pilot are typically issued on a monthly basis and are dependent upon recommendations from participating communities. For the EI Base stream, invitations are customized and may consider:

1. The registration score of the eligible candidate.
2. The specific geographical area where the candidate plans to establish their business.
3. The population size of the candidate's proposed community for business establishment.
4. Whether the business venture is a startup or the purchase of an existing business.
