New BC PNP Draws- British Columbia issues 195 Invitations to apply for provincial nomination

The British Columbia Provincial Nominee Program (BC PNP) held General and Targeted draws on August 9, 2023. This time around the province invited 195 candidates to apply for the provincial nomination. British Columbia conducts regular draws of British Columbia PNP to invite immigration candidates. This is second invitation round of BC NP this month.

Find below the draw results of new general and targeted draws of British Columbia PNP:

  • The province of BC issued most, i.e. 139 ITAs in the General draw held to invite the applicants with Tech Occupations.
  • In the Targeted draw for Childcare: Early childhood educators and assistants (NOC 42202), BC issued 34 ITAs
  • The BC also issued 22 invitations in the Targeted draw for Healthcare occupation.

Key factors of targeted BC PNP Invitation rounds

Targeted ITAs to the Skills Immigration streams may be based on one or more of the below factors:

  • Education – level and field of education and where it was completed
  • Eligible professional designations in B.C.
  • Language skills
  • Occupation
  • Duration and skill level of work experience
  • Wage and/or skill level of job offer
  • Intent to live, work and settle in a specific region
  • Strategic priorities – factors that address specific labour market needs in B.C. or support government pilot projects and initiatives
