Manitoba PNP- Special Immigration Measure draw opened on 29 December

Manitoba, Canada conducted the Special Immigration Measure draw of Manitoba Provincial Nominee Program (MPNP) on December 29, 2022. In this invitation round, Manitoba has invited 16 Ukrainian candidates only.

Manitoba periodically conduct regular EOI draws for individuals who meet all MPNP eligibility criteria and are affected by ongoing events in Ukraine. Find out more.

Eligibility requirements for this draw

The Expression of Interest (EOI) in the raw considered if you:

  • are a citizen of Ukraine;
  • have a minimum of CLB 4 in each language band;
  • have established connection to Manitoba (close relative, family-like, community, previous employment or studies in Manitoba);
  • have a valid language test; and
  • Score at least 60 points according to MPNP assessment criteria.

Manitoba Special Immigration Measure draw

A special measure draws are being held as part of government of Manitoba’s response to the state of affairs in Ukraine and in line with IRCC’s special immigration measures for those affected.

PNP Pathway for immigration to Canada in 2023

The Provincial Nominee Programs (PNPs) will play a key role in immigration to Canada in 2023. Every Canadian province has a PNP through which it invite, assess, select and nominate the skilled worker applicants for Canadian Permanent Residency (PR) Visa. The PNPs has a targeted to invite 105,500 new permanent residents in 2023.

Key PNPs to watch out for in 2023 are:

  • Saskatchewan Immigrant Nominee Program (SINP)
  • Ontario Immigrant Nominee Program (OINP)
  • Alberta Advantage Immigration Program (AAIP)
  • Manitoba Provincial Nominee Program (MPNP), etc.
