Manitoba Invites candidates in Special Immigration Measure Draw for Ukrainian candidates

Manitoba, Canada has conducted a special immigration measure draw of Manitoba Provincial Nominee Program (MPNP) on 18 July 2022 to issue 31 Letters of Advice (LAAs) to apply for provincial nomination to the citizens of Ukraine.

In view of the current situation in Ukraine, and as IRCC’s special immigration measures for Ukraine War victims, Manitoba is conducting regular EOI draws for the citizens from Ukraine. These candidates need to meet MPNP eligibility parameters and they must be victims of current events in Ukraine.

Note: The Expression of Interest (EOI) for this draw only considered provide you:

  • are a citizen of Ukraine
  • have at least of CLB 4 in each language ability
  • have well-known connection to Manitoba (close relative, family-like, community, previous employment or studies in Manitoba)
  • have a valid language test
  • score minimum 60 points as per MPNP assessment criteria

Manitoba Provincial Nominee Program (MPNP) is one of the most active Provincial Nominee Programs (PNPs) of Canada.

The Skilled Workers Overseas (SWO) stream of MPNP nominates candidates, who show an established connection to Manitoba via:

  • the support of family members or friends;
  • through previous education or work experience in the province; or
  • Through an ITA received directly from the Manitoba PNP as part of a Strategic Recruitment Initiative.
